Jyoti Sewa Samiti was founded in 2014 as a heartfelt tribute rooted in love, loss, and remembrance. The Samiti is named after Jyoti, the younger daughter of the Founder and Manager,Late Mr. P. N. Sachan, who was the most beloved child of the entire family. Though her life was brief, ending at the tender age of 8 years, her innocence, affection, and memories continue to inspire a lasting legacy of service and compassion. To keep her spirit alive and to serve society in her loving memory, the organization was named “Jyoti Sewa Samiti.”

The purpose of Jyoti Sewa Samiti is to serve society by promoting education and extending support to the weaker sections of society, enabling them to lead a dignified and empowered life. Guided by the values of compassion and service, the Samiti strives to bring positive change through education and social welfare initiatives.
The school established under this noble mission bears the name B.K.S.D., which is deeply connected with the cherished memories of two revered women of the family—Late Smt. Bhoori Kunwar and Late Smt. Shyam Dulari. Shyam Dulari was the respected mother of Late Mr. P. N. Sachan, while Bhoori Kunwar was his Grand Mother. In honour of their values, blessings, and enduring influence, the school was named B.K.S.D., symbolizing gratitude, respect, and the continuation of family values through education and service to society.
